Ronn Sutton is a professional freelance comic book artist and illustrator. While Ronn's main gig since 1997 was pencilling stories for the Elvira, Mistress of the Dark comic book (Claypool Comics), he currently provides courtroom drawings for the Ottawa Citizen. Recent assignments include pencilling a back-up story for Fear Agent #22 (Image Comics), pencilling and inking work for Arrow Publications at www.MyRomanceStory.com, and super-hero drawings for Batman and Flash coloring books.

RONN SUTTON WITH CASSANDRA (ELVIRA) PETERSON

Throughout his career, Ronn has drawn numerous stories for comics, including More Fund Comics, The Night Terrors, Spinnerette, Vamperotica, Draculina Magazine, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Sex & Death,Vortex, Mean magazine, Perf & Gauge, and many more. In 1994, he drew the daily newspaper strip Jannie Weezie, co-created with Janet Hetherington. As an illustrator, Ronn has provided art for such publications as Saturday Night, Canadian Business, MacLean's, Toronto Daily Star, Owl, and On Spec. Ronn was a key animator for the Savage Dragon animated TV series, based on the popular Image comic book. He has worked on animation for other projects as well, including Rescue Heroes, Honey Nut Cheerios, Captain Highliner,and We’re Back (the animated dinosaur feature). Ronn is a multiple Aurora Award nominee for Artistic Achievement. He has taught cartooning at the Nepean Visual Arts Centre, and in 2001 his work was profiled on the Life Channel’s TV program Eros.
